Measurement

Over 30 precise measurements taken by a master tailor to capture the unique contours, posture, and proportions of your physique.

This is where bespoke diverges entirely from made-to-measure — where numbers give way to anatomy, and a garment begins to take the shape of a person rather than a size category.

Precision

The Anatomy of Fit

True bespoke measurement is not a checklist — it is a study of your body in its entirety. Each of the three dimensions we assess works in concert with the others to produce a pattern that is entirely yours.

Posture & Proportion

Your natural stance, shoulder slope, spinal curvature, and the relationship between your torso and limbs are assessed in detail. True bespoke begins not with a tape measure but with observation — understanding how your body carries itself before a single measurement is recorded.

Contours & Fit

Over 30 precise measurements are taken across your chest, waist, hips, shoulders, arms, back width, seat, and thigh — capturing not just size but shape. These are the numbers that allow a pattern to be drafted exclusively for your body, with no generic template applied.

Comfort & Drape

We account for how you move — whether you are seated in boardroom sessions for hours, reaching across a table, or travelling frequently. The garment is designed to maintain its silhouette and drape naturally through every position and movement of your day.

The Difference

Why Measurement Is the Heart of Bespoke

01

No Two Bodies Are Identical

Even men who share an identical chest size may differ significantly in shoulder slope, arm length, back rise, or the way they carry their posture. Off-the-rack sizing accommodates a statistical average. Bespoke measurement accommodates you specifically — every asymmetry, every proportion, every nuance of your physique accounted for and built into the pattern.

02

The Pattern Is Yours Alone

Following the measurement session, a personal pattern is drafted and stored in your client record. Every garment we make for you begins from this foundation. Over time, your pattern is refined with each fitting, becoming an increasingly precise record of your body and your preferences.

03

Movement, Not Just Stillness

A garment that fits perfectly in a mirror does not always perform in motion. Our measurement process considers how you move — the reach of your arms, the width of your stride, the way your shoulders shift when you are seated. Ease allowances are built in with intention, so the garment works with your body rather than against it.

04

Precision as a Foundation

Every subsequent stage of the bespoke process — pattern drafting, fabric cutting, hand-stitching, and final fitting — depends entirely on the accuracy of these measurements. The time invested here determines the quality of every garment that follows. It is not a formality; it is the craft.

What to Expect

A Calm, Private Session With Complete Attention to Detail

The measurement session takes place in our private atelier, conducted by a master tailor with the full attention and time the process demands. There is no rush. Precision of this order cannot be hurried.

You will be guided through a series of measurements taken across the upper and lower body — chest, back width, shoulders, collar, sleeve length, waist, seat, thigh, and many more. Each figure is recorded by hand and cross-referenced for consistency before being used to construct your personal pattern.

Alongside the numerical measurements, your tailor will observe your posture, the natural drop of your shoulders, and any asymmetries between your left and right sides — details that are common in virtually every physique and that bespoke tailoring is uniquely equipped to accommodate.

Our Approach

A meticulous process where every nuance of your physique is recorded and respected.

We take into account not just numbers, but how you naturally stand, move, and hold yourself. By combining traditional bespoke measurement techniques with an attentive understanding of your lifestyle, we ensure that the final garment feels like a second skin — perfectly balanced, inherently comfortable, and precisely right.

This is the work that separates a bespoke garment from everything else available. It is not visible in the finished piece — but it is felt in every moment you wear it. The suit that sits correctly when you sit, the jacket that does not pull when you reach, the trouser that breaks at exactly the right point without adjustment. That is the result of measurement done with care, by someone who understands that fit is not a number — it is a relationship between a garment and the specific person wearing it.
